2. Founders & Operators Run: Thu 8AM @ Little Island

Some of the best conversations happen on a run. That’s why we’re excited to host a Founders & Operators Run Club for Tech Week - Thursday, 8AM at Little Island. We’ll do a casual 3 miles along the West Side, and have coffee and croissants right after at Chelsea Piers. Come join, and RSVP here.
3. How To Build an Agentic Podcast

I built an agentic podcast over the weekend to cover our work in prediction markets. The interesting part isn't the podcast itself, it's the pipeline. It is portable to any topic with structured data and a daily news cycle. You can do it, too!
The stack has 5 key layers:
Pull live data from any API
An LLM writes the script
A voice clone speaks it (optional)
A browser agent uploads it
A cron job repeats it daily
Ships and pushes new episodes daily without human intervention. Total stack cost: about $50/month. Build time: one afternoon session if you're hands-on.
What works: structured data sources, a defined daily cycle, a clear audience. Markets are the obvious one. Sports lines, macro, weather, niche news verticals all run on the same pattern with a different data layer.
My stack: Polymarket and Kalshi for market data, a backend REST API to aggregate and normalize, Claude for script generation, ElevenLabs (Turbo v2.5) for my cloned voice, Chromium via Playwright for the upload, AWS EC2 + cron for orchestration, Spotify as the host. Every layer is swappable for whatever you have or prefer. The bottleneck for daily content was never the content. It was the human. Once that constraint lifts, every niche topic can get a daily audio brief. If you want to hear what it sounds like, the podcast I built is here →
4. New: Submit to Pulse
We now have a submission form. Going forward, if you have an NYC role, an event worth featuring, a friend's project that should get more eyeballs, or you want to partner with us, drop the details here and we'll review every submission personally:
Free for jobs, events, and cool projects. Sponsorships limited to one per edition/event. If you’re looking for a co-founder, or people to jam with, we can also share your blurb.
5. Recap: NYC Founders & Operators, Rooftop Edition

At a 30% acceptance rate, our last event was about as selective as a top MBA program - but more fun, and better conversation. We covered agent collisions and insurance, stablecoins in B2B banking, neoclouds, and more - while enjoying a gorgeous sunset, and views of the Manhattan skyline. No panels, no pitches, just an open space for authentic peer to peer engagement and community. The energy was electric, and it was my favorite event of the year so far. Given the overwhelming interest, we’ll run it back in 2 weeks’ time on Thursday 7PM. RSVP here.
So long,
Stephan & Team
